| Project Folder Login Help |
1) Log on to the Internet
2) Navigate to our site
In the address bar type:
http://www.davidbethel.com
Press Enter
3) Once you are connected to our site
From the login button pull down menu click on Project Login
4) Enter the project code provided.
5) You may either click the Login! button or press Enter.
You will be redirected to the most current folder for your project.

* Small Format GIF 8.5 x 11
These are 8.5 x 11 landscape drawings.
Click on the link to the view you desire.
The default image is size 1,000 x 762 pixels.
Panning is dependent on your screen size.
To print these directly from the site:
1) From the browser menu:
File > Page Setup
Chose 8.5 x 11 Paper Size
Remove All Character From The Header And Footer Boxes
Set All Margins To 0 ( this will force the smallest
margins available to be set)
Click The Landscape Button
Click OK
2) From the browser menu:
File > Print > Properties
Click The Landscape Button
Click OK
Click OK To Print
The plan view drawings will be vary close to being to scale.
The actual scale will vary due to minimum variable printer
margins by printer manufactures.
* Large Format GIF
These are larger than 8.5 x 11 landscape drawings. We use
24 x 36 as our standard, but this can and does vary from
project to project. 11 x17, 30 x 42, & 36 x 48 are used
as required.
These drawings can be printed on 8.5 x 11 paper with very
good results. It does take a few extra steps, but it is
well worth the effort.

Chose Save Target As
!! Remember the destination file location on your hard drive. !!
This file must be saved in a GIF format. It should be
retrieved in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or Netscape 4.7
or greater. AOL, CompuServe, and older Explorer release do
not work properly and gives unwanted results.
We use Kodak Imaging for viewing & printing. This is a free
program that is included with Windows operating system. It
is normally installed with Windows and can be opened with
Start > Programs > Accessories > Imaging.
If this has not been installed on your system, it can be
added using:
Start Settings >
Control Panel >
Add / Remove Programs >
Windows Setup >
Accessories >
Imaging.
You must have your Windows CD available to install the program.
Open Imaging
File > Open > saved_as_destination_file_name
To print in 8.5 x 11 format:
File > Print > Properties
Click the Landscape button
Click OK
Click Options Button ( Next to the OK button on the
print dialog box )
Change the Print Format to Fit To Page
Click OK
Click the OK on the print dialog box.
The level of detail can be controlled using the graphics level
controls in the printer properties setup.
* Large Format HPGL/2 Plot Files
These are Hewlett Packard Graphics Language files used for
direct communications with various printers. The printer
must be HPGL/2 compatible.
Right click on the desired plot file link
i.e. - PAGE 1 PLOT
Chose Save Target As
We provide a link to a free print file manager that will
send these files directly to any connected printer. They
may also be copied in binary to any printer port available
on your machine. See the instruction page on each folder
for details on this procedure.
* AutoCAD R12 DWG - ZIP
This project file contains the actual drawing file in a
compressed ZIP format. It also includes the required
fonts and script utilities for layer manipulation. All
drawing files are supplied in AutoCAD Release 12 DWG format.

Chose Save Target As
* AutoCAD R12 DWG - DWG
These are 2 dimensional distribution drawing files for
plan and elevations for use from within AutoCAD. All
drawing files are supplied in AutoCAD Release 12 DWG format.

* Rendered Targa Image -TGA
This file contains the actual rendered drawing file. These
are very large files, so be prepared for long download times.

Use photo editors to manipulate the image. For best printing
results, use a glossy paper designed for your specific type
of printer and a minimum of 1,440 dpi color printing.
* Specifications - PDF or TXT
This file contains the written specification for the equipment
shown. PDF format requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader. TXT format
is an ASCII text file for use with NotePad or any word processor.
