BEST PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES
INGREDIENTS:
- ¾ cup un-sifted all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup salted Spanish peanuts
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate bits
DIRECTIONS:
- On wax paper mix together flour and baking soda
- In medium bowl cream butter and peanut butter
- Beat in brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg and vanilla
- Add flour mixture by hand
- Mix well
- Stir in peanuts and chocolate bits
- Drop by heaping tsp onto un-greased cookie sheets
- Press down, with floured fork, making criss-cross pattern
- Bake at 350ºF for 10 minutes
- Let cool one minute before removing from cookie sheet
